Republic Day 2024 Parade
This Republic Day, on January 26, 2024, there will be two all-women contingents in the parade. The first, with 144 personnel, includes 60 soldiers from the Army and the rest from the Indian Air Force and Navy, featuring Agniveer soldiers. The second contingent, led by women doctors, consists of nurses from the Armed Forces Medical Services. It's a celebration of women's power in the defence forces.

- All ticket holders should take their seats by 9 AM and not leave until the president, vice president, and prime minister leave.

How to book online tickets for Republic Day Parade 2024?
STEP 1: Visit the official website of the Ministry of Defence (www.aamantran.mod.gov.in).
STEP 2: Log in or create an account.
STEP 3: Provide required credentials (name, birth date, cellphone number, etc.)
STEP 4: Verify with One Time Password (OTP).
STEP 5: Choose the event from the drop-down menu. (FDR Republic Day Parade, Republic Day Parade, Beating the Retreat).
STEP 6: Fill in the information for every particular along with the original Photo ID.

How to book tickets for the Republic Day 2024 Parade offline?
Republic Day 2024 Parade tickets are available at different ticket counters in the city from January 10th to 25th. However, the tickets on these counters are in limited numbers and are available on a first come first serve basis. Make sure to go early with any government-approved ID proof. Note that there are only limited tickets available at the counters.
Steps To Buy Offline Tickets:
- Visit an authorised offline outlet or designated ticket counters.
- Provide identity proof and fill out a physical form with personal details including name, birth date, mobile number, etc.
- Pick from FDR Republic Day Parade, Republic Day Parade, Beating the Retreat etc.
- Submit a photocopy of the original Photo IQ to complete the verification process.
- Now, complete the booking with the desired payment method.

How to watch the Republic Day 2024 Parade on TV/Online?
Don’t worry if you are not able to get tickets. You can watch the Republic Day 2024 parade on television from the comfort of your home and can stream it online on the Doordarshan Official YouTube Channel or the Press Bureau of India (PBI) Website. Doordarshan will broadcast the parade Live on television as well.
And just after the Republic Day Parade, you can also witness the Beating Retreat Ceremony at the Vijay Chowk on January 29. It is the final event for the four-day Republic Day celebrations. Just get the tickets from the offline ticket counters until the afternoon of January 28 at a very nominal fee of Rs.50 and Rs.20.
Other than the grand parade of Republic Day, visitors can also enjoy Bharat Parv. It is a 9-day-long celebration of freedom and sovereignty, showcasing the nation’s diversity through tableaux, cultural performances and army band performances.
